BC lands elite 04 Cutter Gauthier

Boston College made the biggest waves of the nascent recruiting season when top 04 Cutter Gauthier announced his commitment to the Eagles. Gauthier, a power forward who played for Compuware’s 16 team, is one of the top 2004 skaters in the country and will play for the USA’s National Team Development Program this season. The 6’1 forward has drawn comparisons to Matt Tkachuk and holds dual citizenship in the United States and Sweden.

Gauthier joins an already-formidable 2004 recruiting class for the Eagles, which includes defenseman Charlie Leddy and Seamus Powell as well as forward Connor Welsh. The Eagles also have a strong 2003 group committed, solidifying their recruiting pipeline as one of the best in college hockey.

You can hear more about this commitment in the latest Prospect Currents podcast.
